چکیده

As one of the important factors affecting structural durability cementitious materials, sulphate erosion not only reduces service life material but also poses a threat to safety project. At present, scholars around world have conducted extensive research on topics related external attacks and achieved fruitful results. However, process mechanism attack degradation gelling are clear. In this paper, gypsum sand was introduced into mortar. The effects content, particle size curing temperature physical properties such as expansion strength specimens were investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry (TG), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) used analyse specimens’ phase composition microstructure evolution at different ages. Finally, materials’ under internal (ISA) analysed. Through above research, following main conclusions drawn: (1) swelling rate cement mortar all increased with increase dosing; (2) pastes mortars does in temperature; (3) sizes smaller, is larger, loss compressive bending large; (4) reaction product ISA Ettringite (AFt). formed during cause expansion, while AFt reason for destruction material.

Prediction of Engineered Cementitious Composite Material Properties Using Artificial Neural Network

Cement-based composite materials like Engineered Cementitious Composites (ECCs) are applicable in the strengthening of structures because of the high tensile strength and strain. Proper mix proportion, which has the best mechanical properties, is so essential in ECC design material to use in structural components. In this paper, after finding the best mix proportion based on uniaxial tensile st...

Nanomechanical Properties of Cementitious Materials

Nanomechanical Properties of Cementitious Materials Paramita Mondal Although cementitious construction materials are mainly used in a large scale and in huge quantities, fundamental properties such as strength, ductility, creep, shrinkage, and fracture behavior depend, to a great extent, on structural elements and phenomena which are effective at the microand nanoscale. This research involves c...

Chloride diffusion in partially saturated cementitious material

The paper proposes a combined application of composite theory and Powers’ model for microstructural development for the estimation of the diffusion coefficient as a function of the moisture content of a defect-free cementitious material. Measurements of chloride diffusion in mortar samples (440 kg/m rapid-hardening Portland cement, w/c = 0.5, maturity minimum 6 months) stored at 65% and 85% RH,...

Thermoelastic Analysis of a Rectangular Plate with Nonhomogeneous Material Properties and Internal Heat Source

This article deals with the determination of temperature distribution, displacement and thermal stresses of a rectangular plate having nonhomogeneous material properties with internal heat generation. The plate is subjected to sectional heating. All the material properties except Poisson’s ratio and density are assumed to be given by a simple power law along x direction. Solution of the two-dim...
